I had two mini scoops of the Lemon Drop- Double lemony and Avocado Pistachio.
Lemon Drop- Double Lemony- I personally did’t think this tasted enough like a lemon, I wanted it to be pucker your lips sour, however, it did have lemon drop candy in the ice cream. The ice cream was good, but it wasn’t as sour as I expected.
Avocado Pistachio- was awesome! The ice cream was a light green color and had tiny pieces of avocado and slivers of pistachios in the ice cream. The avocado flavor wasn’t to strong and blended well with the pistachio. It left a very fresh clean taste in your mouth.
I also sampled the following:
Goat Cheese with Jack Daniels Apple Butter and Walnuts (Which I had to try in honor of my mom, she is a huge Jack Daniels Fan): I know some of you are thinking really goat cheese in ice cream? But it is really good; it added a creamy texture to the ice cream with just a hint of the goat cheese. I could taste the Jack Daniels and it was perfect, it wasn’t to strong but you could defiantly taste it. I could not taste the apple butter or walnuts; however, I did just have one bite.
Tequila Sunrise- I was hesitant to try this, for some reason whenever I drink tequila it makes me sick…go figure…. To me this tasted more like a creamsicle with just a hint of tequila.
Sangria- Was awesome tasted just like red sangria. It could have been better if they had chunks of fruit in the ice cream.
Guinness Rain- Joey loves the regular Guinness ice cream, so it was only natural that he tried the new version Guinness Rain. To me the Guinness rain tasted like the Guinness ice cream but with a little bit of chocolate syrup in the ice cream.
Spicy Crunchy Peanut butter- I love peanut butter and I love spicy things however, I did not fall in love with the spicy crunchy peanut butter. It just wasn’t spicy or crunchy enough for me. You could tell it was peanut butter, but I couldn’t find the crunch or the spice.
Milk n Cereal was interesting it tasted like milk and had different types of cereal mixed into the ice cream. I found the cereal to be soggy and I’m not a fan of soggy cereal.
Plantain Dulce De Leche- tasted exactly like bananas foster, would be excellent as a milk shake.

My overall favorite at this year’s Wild Flavor day was the avocado pistachio.
