I received the attached picture from my wonderful sister n law, this afternoon and I decided i just had to share my thoughts about chicken and waffles.

I know you are probably thinking Chicken and Waffles do not go together, but really they do just think about it:
The chicken is fried crispy and melts in your mouth like the butter on the waffles. The combination of of the salt from the chicken and the syrup from waffles creates fireworks in your mouth.
Not only do they have awesome chicken and waffles, they have great macroni and cheese.

I was skeptical about eating the chicken and waffles together too. The soft and sweet syrupy waffles and salty and crispy chicken go perfectly! And I agree with you that the mac and cheese is fantastic. I recommend the smothered chicken, rice and gravy, fried corn, and cabbage - it's southern cooking at it's best!
